Terms of Service

**Effective date:** 23 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TRADEE (the "Service"), provided by TRADEE ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using TRADEE you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

TRADEE helps trades businesses manage customers, quotes, jobs, photos, schedules, and invoices. The Service is provided on an as-is basis and may change without notice.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the business you register. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your data

You own the data you enter into TRADEE (your customers, quotes, jobs, etc). You grant us the permissions necessary to store and process that data so we can provide the Service to you. We do not sell your data.

4. Customer information

When you enter customer details (name, contact, address, photos) you confirm you have a lawful basis to do so under applicable privacy law (including the NZ Privacy Act 2020). You are responsible for how you communicate with your customers via TRADEE.

5. Public quote links

When you send a quote link to a customer, the recipient can view the quote and accept or decline without an account. You are responsible for ensuring the link is only shared with the intended recipient.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use TRADEE for any unlawful purpose, reverse engineer or copy the Service, disrupt the underlying infrastructure, or use it to send spam or unsolicited communications.

7. Subscriptions and payments

TRADEE may offer paid subscription tiers. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled through Google Play. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current period. We will give reasonable notice before introducing new charges.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time from More → Delete account, which permanently removes your data within 30 days.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by NZ law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including lost revenue or profits. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or NZD $100 if you have not paid us anything.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The latest version will always be in the app under More → Terms of Service, with a version number. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes will be resolved in NZ courts.
